On Monday, November 6th, the exhibit "Welcome Home: Oklahomans and the War in Vietnam" will begin its two year run at the Oklahoma History Center (800 Nazih Zuhdi Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73105). The exhibit will be a virtual walk through time, as attendees will first see what led up to the Vietnam War before witnessing Oklahomans involved in the war (nearly 1000 Oklahomans were killed in Vietnam) and ending with American soldiers and Vietnamese refugees coming to the state. It promises to be a powerful exhibit. As always, Veterans and their families do not pay admission the Oklahoma History Center.

Closing out the week of Veterans Day at the Oklahoma History Center is The Wall That Heals. This traveling version of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. will be on display from Friday November 10th to Sunday November 12th. The wall will be erected on the outdoor grounds of the Oklahoma History Center.
